Short Description:

Handcrafted from concrete, wood and steel in natural grey concrete, it contrasts with the central wood inlay and the natural wood edges in hickory. The top is framed in welded steel, sandblasted and powdercoated in matte black. The finishing touch to this table, definitely my favorite element, the cast top surface adds more personal flair to an already one-of-a-kind piece.

To lock the table components together, cut holes in the support beams and use angled wooden dowels made of the same material as the table top. He then knocked in dowels to hold the concrete base in place. This method takes longer, but works well. It’s also easier than using threaded screws and epoxy.

Wood is a recent shift in the use of concrete as an artistic medium. Found its design versatility and organic nature, I love working with concrete because of the limitless styling skills and imagination to create.
